His many years in high-tech include work in the areas of IT engineering, multimedia engineering, speech recognition, Digital Forensics and Security Intelligence. He is listed on several patents relating to speech recognition technology.
He has been working in the Digital Forensics field since 2006. He is a Certified Computer Examiner (CCE) with the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners (ISFCE), a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) with EC-Council, a recipient of Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) from Cloud Security Alliance, and he also holds a legacy MCSE+I certification from Microsoft along with several other Azure, AI, and Compliance-specific certifications.
During his many years in the Digital Forensics field, he has worked on and/or led over 900 different cases and investigations. He has authored numerous affidavits and Expert Reports, been deposed, and has testified in court.
Fun facts: Jakob grew up in Stockholm, Sweden. He comes from a strong background in music, acting and voice-over work. He published a book of short stories in 2006.
